Run The Town is a timed sports competition that takes place on an obstacle course in the most beautiful village in Italy, Vieste. It’s truly one of a kind and in fact, there are no other competitions of this type in Italy. The distance to be covered is a maximum of 5 km and includes running, physical tests and obstacles. The race is open to anyone who wants to compete in a unique and fun competition. In order to complete the race, endurance, physical strength, mental toughness, and a desire to have fun are needed. The 2024 edition of Run The Town opens in Italy and is part of the international sporting event HUMANFIT VIESTE 2024. The route includes 5 stages plus a sixth, which will be tackled by the the athletes that have reported the best time. At each stage there will be a physical test and in some stages will carry a Hydrocore bag filled with water. The athletes with the best times will qualify for the final test. This will consist of reaching the nearby Faro Island by sea with a paddle board, and returning to the starting point. The athlete that arrives first will win the first edition of Run The Town, and will automatically entered the RUN THE TOWN 2025 edition.
